Founded 2 very successful MPD/UBD consultancies, which are still operating and expanding, with one having recently been sold to a major service company. In 2008 founded Managed Pressure Operations.

Has a proven track record of delivering challenging projects. Holder of multiple patents in the MPD/UBD arena. Numerous publications in the MPD/UBD arena. Leading expert of implementation of MPD from semi submersibles and drill ships.

Vice President Eastern Hemisphere
Location: Singapore, Jakarta

Responsible for all operations within the Eastern Hemisphere, with a focus on Service Delivery and Safety performance on all MPO MPD and
NSD projects.

Jim Bisset has over 30 years experience in the Oil & Gas Sector, having worked extensively in Drilling, Testing & Completion services from Field Engineer to Senior Management positions, in a variety of Regions. He has been particularly active in the introduction and development of new technologies and start up of business in remote locations.

Chief Technology Officer
Location: Houston

Responsible for Directing technology development within the company, establishing and maintaining the company’s Intellectual Property protection, and establishing the company’s operations in the US.

Prior to joining MPO, James May has over 30 years experience as a practicing engineer involved with the design, production and operation of oilfield drilling tools. During his career, his duties have ranged from design of single products to development of systems and tools to aid in the application of those products and to leading the entry into new technology areas. James has been active in industry organizations and participated in the development of many industry standard specifications and practices for drilling equipment and managed pressure drilling.

Engineering and Projects Manager Location: Singapore, Jakarta

Responsible for the Project Management, Upfront MPD Engineering Design, Training and HSEQ for all MPO MPD and NSD projects.

He previously spent the last 10 years working as a Project Manager and Project UBD/MPD Engineer on various UBD and MPD projects, mostly in SE Asia, East Asia and Norway, for one of the major service companies.

Prior to working in MPD / UBD he worked as a Conventional Drilling Engineer for the same major service company, and was contracted to Operating companies as a Well Site Drilling Engineer, in the UK North Sea working on ERD and HPHT projects. Henry graduated with a degree in Geology from Manchester University, England in 1992.

Manager NSD Systems and Manufacturing
Location: Singapore, Jakarta

Responsible for the delivery and build of all MPO equipment products, QAQC and HSEQ for all MPO MPD and NSD projects.

He previously spent the last 2 years working as a Project Manager and Project UBD/MPD Engineer on various UBD and MPD projects in Norway & Denmark, for one of the major service companies.

Prior to that he worked as a UBD Project Manager seconded to Shell for the Southern North Sea campaign. Prior to working on UBD and MPD projects, Martyn gained extensive experience working in well services for 12 years with another major service company.

Field Testing Manager
Location: Singapore, Jakarta

Responsible for Factory Acceptance Testing, Initial Field Testing and Implementation of MPO MPD and NSD projects. Also carries out supervision of initial field jobs and training/mentoring of junior personnel.

He previously spent the last 10 years working as a Project/Field Coordinator and UBD/MPD Supervisor on various UBD and MPD projects, in SE Asia, Australia, USA and North Sea, for 2 of the major service companies.

Prior to working in MPD / UBD he worked as a Data Acquisition Engineer and Reservoir Engineer for a major service company in well testing services in various worldwide locations.

MPD Engineer
Location: Singapore, Jakarta

Co-Responsible for NSD Development and Testing, TCD Control Systems design, development of Operating Procedures and Maintenance Manuals for the NSD and TCD Systems and acts as a Field Engineer for NSD and TCD projects.

Boudewijn was one of the initial MPO employees. Before that he worked as a QHSE manager for PT Air Drilling Associates, Indonesia, and as a Drilling Engineer on oil/gas and geothermal projects in
The Netherlands.

MPD Engineer
Location: Singapore, Jakarta

Responsible for project specific MPD Engineering and assisting in the design and fabrication of MPO equipment to ensure QAQC and timely delivery. Also acts as Field MPD Engineer for NSD and TCD projects.

He previously spent the last two years working as an MPD Engineer utilizing an automated MPD system with advance kick detection capabilities on various projects, in the USA and North Africa. Prior to that, he worked for a major Service Company implementing various forms of UBD techniques to customers in S.E Asia. Michael graduated with an Msc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London 2004.

Senior Projects Engineer
Location: Jakarta

Responsible for the Project Upfront Engineering, Training and Design on designated MPO MPD projects.

Prior to joining MPO, Chris Chapman has over 35 years experience in the upstream Oil & Gas Industry with the previous four years focused on MPD Project Management.

Prior to working in MPD, Chris has held various supervisory and middle management positions within the Drilling and Service Sectors from the North Sea, Africa to SE Asia. Chris has a Masters Degree from Robert Gordon University in Drilling &
Well Engineering.
